  1. The client is always right.
  2. If the client is wrong refer to law number 1.
  3. Always greet the caller with a smile on your face.
  4. Remember that when you pick up the phone, you are working for our client and they pay your wages. So get to know their products, contacts and customers.
  5. Always show interest in the client's customers and if possible take them out of the marketplace (employ your charm).
  6. You are not there just to represent a client but to add to their business bottom line.
  7. If you take a sales enquiry for a client - get it to themfast by hell or high water.
  8. If you make a mistake, relax - but put it right and get in-touch with the client and apologise.
